A PROGRAMME ESTABLISHED IN 2003/04

IN WHICH THE EDUCATION COMMUNITY AIMS TO CONTRIBUTE TO A

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MUNICIPALITY

IT IS DIRECTED AT ALL STATE AND SUBSIDISED SCHOOLS IN THE ACBC

THAT PROVIDE COMPULSORY EDUCATION

FOR 6-16 YEAR OLDS

IT IS COORDINATED BY A GOVERNMENTAL

INSTITUTION AND INVOLVES THE WORK OF 14 ADVISORS WHO TRAIN COORDINATORS

AT THE EDUCATION CENTRES

TOWN COUNCILS

- OFFER TECHNICAL ADVICE

- ORGANIZE FORUMS FOR STUDENTS PARTICIPATION.

- MUNICIPAL REPRESENTATIVES ARE COMMITED TO :

- RESPONDING TO THE PROPOSALS

- CARRYING OUT SOME OF THE ALTERNATIVES
