The EMCC Work• Ranges from individual drop-in consultations at
the New Media Center to the creation of innovative web-based classes.
• To help us in our mission, we are developing Stellar, an open architecture, standards based platform for Web based education.
• Supports on-campus education, major distance learning programs such as the Singapore-MIT Alliance, and special projects with select corporate partners of MIT.

The EMCC Provides• Design and web programming support for major Institute
educational initiatives• “Building Block” services in prototype, production, and
operational versions;
• Consultation • instructional design, graphic design, technological design• developing ideas for instructional experiments with web-based multimedia into
proposals and projects.
• Design, Implementation, and Production Service transition assistance for websites
• Services to help users self-educate, analyze, access available projects and resources
