    This product is used to discover the advantages offered by an installation designed to monitor and manage the utilities of a tertiary or residential building.

    The bench is used to simulate a home automation installation. It is made up of an aluminium rack on which the teaching components are fitted connected on safety sockets.

    The products provided are used to perform functions such as:@ controlling roller blinds,@ controlling and dimming lighting,@ controlling 230V 16A actuators,using standard pushbuttons, with flush action, multi-function, an infra-red remote control and a presence detector.

    These components are connected to one another via the Konnex bus conforming to international standard ISO/IEC 14 543-3.

    The machine is fed with 12 different parts. At the control console, the operator chooses the criteria which he or she will use to define a correct part. Then, he or she put the products on a conveyor belt. The machine segregates the products, one by one, and moves them to a control station equipped with three on-off sensors of different types of technology and two analogue sensors. The product is then moved to the output of the machine and directed, depending on the test result, either to the correct product feeder or the incorrect one.     The basic unit includes:@ an oven with a door operated by an asynchronous motor driven by an Altivar

    speed controller,@ a 500W resistor with beacon signalling oven operation,@ a parts transfer system with tables and cylinders,@ pneumatic distribution elements,@ a TSX 37-22 PLC,@ ASi (TSX SAZ10) module,@ Preventa module to control machine safety,@ a dialogue panel with a Magelis terminal.

    The input conveyor includes:@ a vertical loading station,@ parts transfer cylinders,@ an asynchronous motor driven by an ASi LD motor starter,@ inductive sensors for parts monitoring.
