What makes us differentIn LAP we believe that study tours should be of benefit beyond the pleasure of travelling and getting to know new places or relate with new cultures, we know that a trip like this can mark a turning point in the life of those who participate. This is why we have thought and developed a powerful program full of emotions, so the students not only get a nice memory of their experience, we also want to provide our know-how regarding participants self-development. Travelling is a stimulus for the brain which is enriched by the synaptic connexions between neurons. New colours, smells, flavours and social interactions with other individual’s strength brain´s neuroplasticity and improve our cognitive reserve.

The capital of Spain, Madrid, may be famous for its illustrious football club and the fact that it is the capital city, but it has way more to offer. Even though the city is cosmopolitan and modern, it still preserves its traditions and culture passionately. Toledo

Toledo is truly one of Spain's most magnificent cities. It is situated on a rugged promontory washed on three sides by the Tagus River, 42 miles (67 km) south-southwest of Madrid. Toledo is considered most representative of Spanish culture, and its historic centre was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1986. It was known as the ‘city of three cultures’ in the Middle Ages, a place where Christian, Muslim and Jewish communities peacefully coexisted.

Toledo preserves an artistic and cultural legacy in the form of churches, palaces, fortresses, mosques and synagogues. This great diversity of artistic styles makes the old quarter of the capital of Castile - La Mancha a real open-air museum, which has led to it being declared a World Heritage Site. Justifiably popular with day trippers, try to stay overnight to really appreciate the city in all its haunting glory.

Segovia

Segovia, the old quarter of which, along with its Roman aqueduct, are World Heritage Sites, lies on high ground between the Eresma and Clamores Rivers.

In addition to its famous aqueduct, numerous Romanesque churches, the Cathedral and Fortress go to form this magnificent lands-cape that presides over this part of Castile.

Its modern Parador Hotel is one of the best pla-ces for the visitor to savour the city's most tradi-tional dish: roast suckling pig.

Moreover, Segovia is an excellent starting point to tour the province and visit to the La Granja Palace, as well as the Gorges of the Duratón Ri-ver Nature Reserve, among other attractions.

Ávila

Sheltered by the Sierra Gredos Mountains we find Ávila, a World Heritage City. Behind the city walls of this Castile-Leon capital there is a valuable set of churches and Renaissance palaces that bear witness to the past wealth of the town as a textile centre.Being the birthplace of Saint Teresa of Jesus has left its mark across the city, both inside and outside the city walls, with a large number of religious buildings linked to the saint's life. The European Commission has given Ávila the Access City Award 2010.

Valencia

Valencia is trade and culture, cinema, theatre, museums, magic, business. It is the centre of international and avant-garde design, and one of the most active cities in Europe regarding fairs and conferences.

Thanks to its location, Valencia has historically been Spain’s Mediterranean port and has that special charm of cities that are also seaports. And the fine sand and clean water, the vastness of the sea and the closeness of the coastal mountain make the Valencian coast uniquely attractive.

There are outstanding beaches and dunes where the coastline becomes leisurely and residential, as it does to the north of the Valencian capital, where small tourist town have emerged where only a few years ago fruit and vegetables were grown. Andalusia

Andalusia is the most southern region of Spain and the most populated of all seventeen autonomous communities with over 8 million inhabitants. The name dates back to the Arabic ‘Al-Andalus’, which referred to the regions of Spain that came under Arabic administration, in various periods between 711 and 1492.

The all year-round mild climate enjoyed in Andalusia makes it one of the most popular destinations in Spain for travelers and holidaymakers who come to enjoy both summer and winter sun vacations. Andalusia has a lot to offer and the different provinces are very distinct in their character, flavour and landscape.

Granada

Granada is one of the pearls of Spain, most visited by tourists from all the world. The long-time capital of Moorish Andalusia has to offer the most important reminds of this epoch in Spanish history.

Walk through beautiful gardens, charming narrow streets filled with flowers, sit down in one of those typical taverns and breath the centuries of history around you anywhere.

The city is located at the foot of the "Sierra Nevada", the Iberian Peninsula's highest mountain-massif with great possibilities for winter-sports. On the other hand, it is not far from the Mediterranean Sea, so Granada is a great place to visit in any season.

Mijas, Marbella, Puerto Banus

Visit the famous charming town of Mijas, Marbella & the port area Puerto Banus.

The first stop will be at Mijas, village formed by narrow streets with white houses decorated with hand-painted and colourful flowerpots. This village is located in the mountains and it is famous by the Burrotaxis (donkeys-taxi).

Marbella is, without a doubt, one of the Costa del Sol's major tourist centres, thanks to the high quality of the facilities and services it provides. Puerto Banús, one of the main focal points for tourists in the town, houses an exclusive leisure area inside the excellent facilities of its marina.

The historic part of town, sitting on a beautiful bay, shelters lovely corners of a typically Andalusian flavour, with whitewashed houses and orange trees adorning the streets and squares. An ideal setting for sampling any one of the tasty recipes of the local cuisine.

Ronda

This town in the Málaga region sits on either side of the Tajo del Ronda, a narrow gorge more than 150 metres deep. Its old town has been declared Property of Cultural Interest. Celts, Phoenicians, Romans and Arabs all inhabited these lands, which were reconquered by the Catholic Monarchs. The historic quarter, reminiscent of the Arab age and with a medieval layout is scattered to the south of the Guadalevín, while more modern Ronda, the part which sprang up after the 16th century, unfolds to the north of the course of this river. Several bridges unite the two halves of one of the most interesting towns on the route of the Whitewashed Villages, in the heart of the the Ronda hills, only a few kilometres from the Costa del Sol.

Seville

Situated on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, Seville has a rich Moorish heritage, and used to be a prosperous port that carried out trade with the Americas. The streets and squares in the historic quarter of the capital of Andalusia are lively and busy. They treasure many constructions that have the World Heritage designation, and many districts are full of traditional culture, like Triana and La Macarena. Seville is a prominent business and service centre in the south of Spain and has many hotels distributed all over the city which enable visitors to discover endless attractions. Museums and art centres, theme parks, cinemas, theatres and clubs are some of the many leisure options that a great city like Seville holds. Without forgetting, of course, the numerous terraces, inns and bars where visitors can practise one of the most deeply-rooted and tasty traditions in the city: "Going out for tapas".

Córdoba

Cordoba is situated in the interior of Andalusia where past and modernity blend in together. This thousand-year-old city, which has the World Heritage designation, is a living legacy of the different cultures that settled here throughout its history.Not many places in the world can say they have been the capital of Hispania Ulterior (Further Spain) under the Roman Empire, and capital of the Umayyad Caliphate. This splendour can also be seen because of the intellectualism of this city of knowledge, where figures like Seneca, Averroes or Maimonides were born.If you walk round the old quarter you will discover a beautiful network of alleyways, squares and white-washed courtyards surrounding the Great Mosque-Cathedral, which reflects the importance of the city in the Middle Ages, and is the symbol of the city.

Florence

Venice

Venice capital of Veneto region, northern Italy, was once the centre of a maritime republic. The "City of Bridges", as it is usually called, stretches along the mouths of the Po and the Piave rivers. Also known as a famous place for sweethearts, lovers, artists and poets, Venice is a magical city. It is often referred to as the city of "gondole", which are the means of transportation used to cross the numerous canals passing through the city.
