Anglia Ruskin University was founded as the Cambridge School of Art by John Ruskin in
1858. Today, with a traditional history and a student population of 31,000, we are one of the
largest modern universities in England.

GSM London is an independent School of Higher Education with two campuses in London.

1. Overview
The University of South Wales was formed recently through a merger of the University of
Glamorgan and the University of Wales, Newport to become one of the largest universities in
the UK and the largest in Wales with 33,000 students.

Caerleon is just a few miles from Newport city centre and served by an excellent bus
service. It is a completely different setting from the City Campus, Newport. With many pubs,

place to stay out late socialising.
