WELCOME TO ROYALS HAIR

If you ask most successful hair salons or hairdressers what their secret is, many would say “education” or

“training”. At Royals Hair Academy, we perceive education as a perpetual pursuit of perfection because

while perfection itself is unattainable, we never stop pursuing it.

The courses on offer in this calendar have been developed to provide hairdressers and salon owners with

real skills that can be utilized in the salon on a daily basis. Some of our creative workshops still tailor to the

advanced stylists looking for inspiration and chasing that spark to keep the creative juices flowing but our

core offering is realistic hands on workshops that ensure hairdressers are empowered with real salon skills

that they can take back to the floor and apply to everyday clients immediately. Basically, we’ve developed

our workshops with both the hairdresser and salon in mind so that both can see an almost immediate

after effect on the salon floor.

For example, our new CPR (Consultation. Products. Rebook) workshop is one of our signature classes de-

signed to have an immediate effect on hairdresser and salon performance and revolutionize the way hair

salons perform services, consultations, sell products and rebook! A simple yet super effective workshop

that has seen stylists increase their performance, product sales, client retention and rebooking rates.

We also offer custom workshops to any salons that may be interested and are open to collaboration and

MARY ALAMINE Mary Alamine’s career in hairdressing has seen her work published around the

globe and her distinct style is recognized for its originality and inventiveness. In

2016 she was recognized as winner of the NSW/ACT Hairdresser Of The Year in both

the Australian Hair Fashion Awards and the Hair Expo Awards. She’s a regular Hair

Director backstage at Fashion Week and shows across Australia and contributes to

the development of the educational program at Royals Hair Academy.

TRAVIS BANDIERA He’s the colour wizard of Australia and is renowned for creating unique imagery and

concepts that challenge the status quo by pushing creative boundaries and thinking

outside the box. His young, fresh insight into world of colour and his innovative

techniques have seen him named Finalist for 2016 Colourist Of The Year in The

Australian Hair Fashion Awards and Finalist for 2016 New Creative Force in the Hair

Expo Awards.

JOSEPH ANANIAJoseph is a master hairdresser and hair extension technician with a long list of

celebrity clients. His ability to create long natural looks and utilize hair extensions to

create almost any kind of look combined with his passion for education make him

a perfect addition to the education team. His tape extension workshops help salons

and hairdressers to convert hair extensions into a core service which generates

income on par with colour and cutting services in the salon. His combined theory

and practical workshops are in high demand as they’re designed to be realistic and

easy to understand which in turn makes him one of the most popular educators.

GUEST ARTISTA variety of guest artists are invited to join us at Royals Hair Academy. These are

normally award winning high profile educators who come on board throughout the

This hands on workshop will teach you how to apply and cut tape hair extensions to blend in to natural hair. You will learn everything there is to know about extensions which includes colour matching to your clients hair as well as how to determine how many extensions they need to achieve their desired result.

This advanced workshop will teach you how to apply extensions on clients that need more or less than one standard full set of hair extensions and determine how many a client may need to achieve a natural and perfectly concealed finish. You will learn placement as well as how to cut the hair extensions into ensure they blend perfectly with the natural hair. Stylists are highly recommended to attend Tape Extension 1 before 2 if they haven’t worked with tape extensions before.
