Sustainable Design for Education

K–12

Engineering sustainable, high-performance school buildings that can also be used as teaching tools is the goal for the majority of CMTA’s K-12 projects. Sustainable, high-performance schools are not limited to new construction; many of CMTA’s high-scoring ENERGY STAR® schools were renovations.

Higher Education

CMTA has extensive higher education experience. Projects include offices, classroom buildings, supercomputer labs, research laboratories, residence halls and sports facilities. We apply our energy- efficient practices to these projects, resulting in both LEED® and ENERGY STAR® certifications.
