The programs at Nove Academy have been reviewed and approved by the
Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission, and qualify
as technical training credit towards Journeyperson Certification.

Nove’s Gel Nail Technology course prepares students with the crucial
knowledge and skills to enter this exciting industry. This course is ideal for
students that enjoy creativity, artistry, interacting with people, and who possess
a passion for learning. The key focus of the program is to teach students the skills
necessary to perform nail services with confidence and proficiency. This is
achieved through personalized teaching plans, attentiveness to student needs,
and focused professional material delivery. We at Nove are dedicated to

Nove’s Manicure course provides students with the knowledge and skills to
perform this relaxing and therapeutic service. This course is ideal for students
who are looking to get into the world of nail services and would like to start
with a well-rounded natural nail understanding first. Alternatively, for any nail
technician looking to add to their repertoire of nail care services, manicuring
is the foundation of all nail care and will never go out of style. Great attention
will be paid to sanitation/disinfection, nail diseases and disorders, basic
manicuring, business building, professionalism, and, of course, beauty. In
addition, students are also taught spa manicures and UV cured polish
application, which is currently taking the industry by storm.

Nove’s Manicure/Pedicure combination course provides an in depth, all-
encompassing course containing all the knowledge and skills needed to perform
both manicure and pedicure services. This course is ideal for students interested
in both areas of expertise. The key focus of the program is to teach students the
skills necessary to perform both services with confidence and proficiency. Great
attention will be paid to sanitation/disinfection, nail diseases and disorders, nail
care safety, basic/spa hand and foot services, building business, professionalism,
and, of course, beauty. In addition, students are taught how to perform
specializations, introductory aromatherapy, reflexology, and the application of
UV cured polish, which is currently taking the industry by storm. As an added
bonus, this kit includes spa pedicure supplies to experiment with and enjoy.

Nove’s Nail Art class is a half day application course for existing nail
technicians who would like to add to their repertoire of services. This course is
ideal for any professional who would like to add creativity, artistry, and extra
income to their current nail enhancement services. Students will learn a
variety of techniques, such as marbleizing and free hand painting. With the
added benefit of a private class, students can request to learn other art
forms not included in the curriculum! Existing clients will love the change and
be thrilled to receive it!

Nove’s Introductory Acrylic Nail course is a one day application course for
existing nail technicians who would like to add to their repertoire of services.
Technicians who graduate from this course will have the capability to perform
this world wide universal service. Technicians will gain introductory knowledge
of one color and two color acrylic applications, crack repair, fills, and removal.
Whether you’re interested in working in town, abroad, or simply would like to
complete your nail technology arsenal so that you might apply for your
Provincial Journeyperson Examinations, this is the program for you.

fullness with classic lash sets. The class teaches new techniques to wow your
clients, using the finest lash extension weights to create a lash set of 200-700

Nove’s Facial and Body Waxing course equips students with the necessary skills
and knowledge needed to perform body and facial epilation procedures using
various waxing methods. The program teaches students product knowledge,
sanitation/disinfection procedures, specialty waxing techniques, and problem
solving. Students will receive all of the necessary knowledge and supporting
material to practice safe and result driven services for their future clients. This is
an intimate setting with care given from our educators, as well as unlimited use
of the classroom supplies. We ensure that each person leaving our class will feel
comfortable and confident to perform a proper waxing service for their guests.

Nove’s Facial Waxing and Tinting class is for the student who is interested in
specializing their wax services. The program teaches students product
knowledge, sanitation/disinfection procedures, specialty waxing techniques
and problem solving, as well as the added benefit of brow and lash tinting.
Students will receive the necessary knowledge and supporting material to
practice safe and result driven services for their future clients. If you are
interested in adding waxing to your service menu but would like to focus only
on the facial area, this course is for you!

Nove’s Troubleshooting course is for any technician who is having trouble with
their area of expertise and would like a little extra help with perfecting their
skill. Here at Nove, our spectacular educators want nothing more than to see
people in our industry succeed and do well. If your trouble is within the scope
of the classes we offer here at our academy, we will do our very best to
improve speed, precision, and knowledge in the area being challenged.

Guest Education
In order to provide a well-rounded education, Nove often hosts guest educators in
our facility. We are fortunate to have educators who are willing to share their
advanced area of expertise!

Benefits of our Facility
Student/Graduate Supply Discount
During class, students have the convenience of our Wholesale Salon and Esthet-
ics store should the need for supplies come at any time. Supplies are discounted
to students in select courses starting on their first day of class and continuing for
three months as a thank you for joining our family (some restrictions apply). Nove
also has a referral program.
Referral Program
If you refer any students to us, you will receive a $50 credit on your account once
the student has begun class with us. Name must be mentioned at time of registra-
tion to receive credit.
Private Class Pricing
Nove offers private pricing on all of our regular scheduled classes. Please contact
us for pricing and available dates.
Deposits To secure a spot in any one of our classes, a deposit must be paid (please inquire
about class deposits with our staff using the contact information provided below).
However, if for any reason you need to cancel or move the class date, you can
do so at any time before the deadline. Deadline for deposit refund is 7 days prior
to class date. Anything past will result in a non-refundable deposit. Classes must
be completed within 3 months of the start date.
Models Models are required both during and outside of class in order for students to learn
proper techniques. It is the student’s responsibility to supply their own models.
