My job consists...

• My job consists of forging swords, shields and armors for the people who ask for it, We exchange that for money.

ONE DAY IN MY LIFE

• I get up at 7:00 o’clock. I have a glass of milk for breakfast with cookies. I earn every day more or less thirty coins of silver and ten of gold. I work with my father in a small workshop.

• I like my work but it’s very tired because in one day they entrust me more or less two swords, a shield and often an armor. My most common clients are the king and some of his knights. I don’t work with uniform because it’s very inconvenient and I never know the hour that I stop working. It depends on the work that I have.

• Normally, in one day I work 8 hours. To be a blacksmith is a hard work as all those who exist. I buy my tools to a friend and I pay to him ten coins of silver and one of gold for every hammer.

• The women can do this job just as well as men.

• I've been working on this for twenty years and I intend to stop in twenty years more.
