Dear Stakeholder,

Thank you for your ongoing interest in the Sharp Hills Wind Farm (Project). In December 2018, we provided Project updates, including further information on the wind farm layout and number of turbines. As a result of detailed engineering studies, EDP Renewables Canada Ltd. (EDPR) has now updated some parts of the collector system layout.

The locations of the turbines, meteorological towers, access roads, O&M building, substation and laydown yard have not changed. The total Project size will remain at 298.2 megawatts (MW). The Project will continue to have two phases, Sharp Hills I and II:

• Sharp Hills I will continue to move forward with 59 turbines (247.8 MW). • Sharp Hills II will continue to move forward with 12 turbines (50.4 MW).

Accompanying this letter are two documents that provide more detailed information about the proposed Project modifications and EDPR’s participant involvement program:

• Project Infrastructure and Noise Map, which shows the location of the updated collector system layout. The noise impact assessment results are shown on the same map and are the same as those shown in the December 2018 Project Specific Information Package (PSIP).

• Alberta Utilities Commission Brochure, Public involvement in a proposed utility development.

The Shadow Flicker Map has not been included as these results have not changed since the December 2018 PSIP. Visual simulations remain available on our website at www.sharphillswindfarm.com.

We will continue to engage with the community, landowners, and local government over the coming weeks, and we look forward to receiving your feedback about the Project and these changes.

Many stakeholders have requested regular electronic notifications on the Project updates and progress. As a result, we have set up a service on the Sharp Hills website under the section titled “Sharp Hills Mailing List”. Click the “Sign Up” button to access an online form to provide your consent to EDPR sending electronic communications. Please provide your contact information in this online form (e-mail address, mailing address and phone number).

Within this form you can elect to sign-up for one or both the following services on our Project website:

1. Construction Updates - join the e-mail list for regular updates, including construction activities and potential traffic impacts.

2. Community Newsletters - occasional industry, company and project updates, and future consultation materials.
