Festive Craft FunSeasonal Sounds
Children are invited to join in special crafting fun
in the Santa’s Storyland area between 10 am and
2 pm each day from December 20 to 24. With the
help of one of Santa’s helpers, little artists can
build special items that are easy to carry and pack
up for the plane trip!

Throughout December you can enjoy children’s
choirs from schools in the Edmonton Metro Region
singing festive music. Located in the lower level
of the airport by Arrivals entrances C and D.
There will also be an increased frequency of
performances at our Central Hall piano stage and
Living Wall stage. We know you’ll enjoy their music
as much as we all do.

What You Can Take Through Security
What can I bring in my carry-on?You can bring liquids, aerosols and gels that are
in containers with a capacity of no more than 100
ml, and the total number of liquid containers all fit
into a small plastic bag with a capacity of no more
than one litre. One bag per person. Exempt items
are: prescription and essential non-prescription
medications, baby food, baby formula and breast
milk. Visit CATSA.gc.ca for further details.
Wrapped giftsPlease do not wrap gifts before arriving, as they
may have to be unwrapped by security. Gift
wrapping is available post-security in Central Hall.

Is shoe removal required?You do not need to remove your shoes in Central
security (domestic or international flights).
You will need to remove your shoes in US Customs
and Border Protection (US flights only), except
seniors and children under the age of 12.
Strollers and wheelchairsIf you are travelling with a small child or a physically
challenged person you can check with your airline
for assistance. Look for Priority Lane, a wider,
more accessible boarding line. There is extra
space to accommodate larger items like strollers
and wheelchairs and mobility aids, and screening
officers who offer additional assistance.
What identification do I need?If travelling within Canada, all passengers who appear
to be 18 years of age or older must have government
issued identification with a photo or two pieces of
non-photo government issued identification including
the person’s name and at least one piece that would
also include date of birth and gender.
Passengers that are between the ages of 2-18 must
have an original birth certificate or non-government
issued identification (e.g. a student card). Either the
original birth certificate or photocopy of the original
birth certificate is required for passengers that are
under two years of age. If you are travelling outside of
Canada a valid passport is required. For further details
or clarification please contact your airline.
