Materials:Edmodo

Task: Designing Your AccountYou will set up your Edmodo account. Divide your class into small groups to create Literature Circles. Create a discussion board for each literature circle and be the facilitator for each group. Allow the students to control the discussion. Then, create one assignment in which the students are required to upload or submit a document. Grade the assignment online.

Goal: The teachers will use several aspects of Edmodo.Role: The teacher will take on the role of the facilitator and assist students only as needed in the social networking environment.Audience: The teachers will provide this for middle and high school students.Situation: The teachers’ challenge involves remembering everything that was taught during the training session and using it with his/her students.Product Performance and Purpose: The teachers will use Edmodo to engage students.Standards and Criteria for Success: Your product must meet the standards of the following rubric.
