From1991-1993heworked as a visiting professor at the Escuela deMedicina Veterinaria of the Universidad Nacional in Heredia, Costa Rica. He became a diplomate of theEuropeanCollegeofVeterinarySurgeons in1994.Hewasappointedas fullprofessor totheChairofEquineMusculoskeletalBiology in2007and isnowmainly involved in researchwith focusareasarticular cartilage,tendons and biomechanics.
