Editorial EJOGR

This year the EJOGR reaches its tenth year of existence. Conceived by her parents, the Societies of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Netherlands and of Northern Belgium, and educated by the founding Editor and the Foundation, ‘the Child’ has grown up rapidly. Now she has reached the phase of independence.

On behalf of this ‘child’, we thank all our colleagues in and outside Europe who have been so devoted to her well-being. We hope that they will continue this support for the benefit of their patients and profession. The Editorial and Advisory Board system has been revised and is now comparable to other International journals. Names of our referees, whose counsel we value highly, will be published yearly in the journal.

For residents - our future - a special subscription rate of half price has been guaranteed by the publisher.

We hope that this journal will continue to serve our patients and their advisors. Furthermore, we resolve that this journal will continue to grow in stature by attracting and presenting to its readers scientific and clinical com- munications which meet high standards of advancement of knowledge, relevance to reproductive medicine, and critical review.

There will be 3 volumes published over the two-year period 1980/81.
