1 From the President: Well another year will soon be ending. Your club ac- complished some very good things this year. The roads were graveled, graded, and made passable. There were a number of volunteers for mowing which made the task easier for all. Thank you. Your club hosted two ASA archery shoots and a youth indoor archery program was well attended. Our trap pro- gram had the best attendance in many years, averaging about twenty shooters per week. The modular home had new windows, which were really needed, installed. The old greenhouse behind the modular was demolished and the debris removed. Overall the club had accom- plished much and we spent a lot of money. That is ok; we spend all income on the club. On the agenda for next year, noting we hope to keep ex- penditures to a minimum in 2020. The past several years we have spent almost all of our yearly income. The fol- lowing is planned for 2020: the ingress and egress roads will have gravel added, be graded and compacted this year., the lower parking lot will have gravel added, be graded and compacted, and the main entrance doors to the downstairs will be upgraded. The board intends to keep all spending in 2020 to a minimum and only spend on absolutely necessary things. On the issue of money, the board and membership will vote in November, whether, or not, to: increase membership dues ten dollars ($10.00) for "all" membership categories. The club has not increased dues for many years, but believe it necessary due to the increased cost of hired maintenance and labor. The cost of boat stickers for non-club members to launch their watercraft may be increased from twenty dollars ($20) to twenty-five ($25) for the first watercraft. Additional watercraft will remain at the ten dollar ($10) rate. The rental rate for the upper hall for non- members may be increased by fifty dollars ($50) to two hun- dred dollars. These increases are minimal, but absolutely nec- essary. Please attend the No- vember 5th membership meet- ing. Your vote counts and is very much needed. Officers and directors will be elected at the November meet- ing also. Nominees are: Ar- chery Director Norm Zakrzewski; Membership and Sunshine Director Judy Speed; Conservation and Waterfront Jim Moore; there were not any nominees for Vice Presi- dent. We will also be voting on a "few" changes to our Consti- tution and Bylaws. They were presented to the mem- bership and board in October and will be reviewed before the votes are taken. Finally, our Annual Night party will be on December 7th this year. You will be receiving your invitation and reservation in the mail soon. We are raffling off a Reming- ton combo shotgun. You must be present to buy a ticket and win. Also, the money in the membership drawing will be given to some lucky club member, you must be at the event to win if your name is drawn for the $263.00. Dinner will be ca- tered by Grady's again this year. The same menu as last year, same cost as last year $12.50 per person. Entrees are Bourbon Glazed Chicken and Beef Brisket, you get both if you so choose. Please join us for an evening of fun, good food, and prizes.
