Judy Fratzke says that the Garden at Littleton is ready for picking! Cucumbers and other things. Help yourself or tell others! We will be collecting our "Noisy Offering" of change for Feed My Children (FMSC). This will look a little different this year. Instead of the kids collecting your loose change we will have the bowls in the narthex for you to drop your coins in on your way by. FMSC is an organization that brings food to children in need around the world. Rev. Richard Harken passed away on Aug 1 st . He was the former pastor here at FPC in Jesup. For those of you that may wish to send a card, his wife Jan resides at 845 S 60 th St Apt. 514 West Des Moines, IA 50266-5733 NEED A PIANO? Pastor John has his piano up for sale. It’s housed at the parsonage for now and is going for a really good price! Contact him at 920-319-9971.

Prayers for the Presbytery, Northminster, Ames-Rev. Jim DuBois

For the Spirit’s guidance and encouragement for our Pastoral Nominating Committee and for the unseen ‘nudge’ in candidates’ hearts.

For Marcella West surgery went well and is not in any pain. She will be going home later today to rest and recover.

For Kristy Dean (Shelly's sister) she had a second foot surgery this morning. Pray for a complete and quick recovery.

For Cheryl Parker’s eye to be fully restored.

For Judy Fratzke and her family as they grieve the loss of her sister Diane.

Pray for the friends & family of Rev. Richard Harken (previous pastor here at First Presbyterian Church in Jesup) . He passed away unexpectedly in his sleep.

Pray for the friends and family of Gordon D. Brown of Columbia, Missouri, previously of Jesup, he passed away July 29th.

For planning and prepping of Christian education this fall.

For the Summer Food Program of the Jesup Ministerial Assn to be successful in reaching out to our neighbors in love.

For all who are in care facilities (Lexington Estates and ABCM in Independence; La Porte City and Western Homes in Cedar Fall for virus protection and for well-being in body and soul.

For comfort and company for those in assisted living: Helen Blad, Vivian Kaster.
