There are 2 ways you can access the iMovie app.

Finder is located in the lower left corner of your Mac screen click on the icon to get to the Finder screen.

The first way is to access it in Finder

Finder MenuIn the Finder window, look to the side menu, find Applications and click on it.

Look for the iMovie app and click on it.

The Project portion of the screen is the movie you are currently

editing.

The red bar is called the Scrubber. You can edit the still that the Scrubber appears on. You can move the scrubber by clicking on it

When the Scrubber is on a still, the enlarged still will show up here.

Event LibraryThe Event Library is where your imported movies and screencasts are stored until you use them for your project.

Your imports are stored by date and name, you can access your stored events here.

To start you projectClick on File in the top menu bar.

Click on New Project

After your event is imported and you have created a new project, you need to drag the stills from the event

library to the project.

1.Click on the still here.

2.And drag it to here (make sure it is in the correct order).

Helpful HintIf you have dragged your stills and they are in the wrong order, click on Edit, Undo and try again.
