Using the GuideTime Slots: Shows are divided into six sections: early shows 06:30 – 08:59, morning shows 09:00 –11:59, afternoon shows 12:00 – 16:59, early evening shows 17:00 –19:59, evening shows 20:00 – 23:59 and late shows 00:00 – 06:29.All Day Events: These are grouped at the end of each day’s listings and include ongoing exhibitions and events. For the purposes of this guide, this applies to all events with a duration exceeding eight hours.

Edinburgh Festival Fringe 5 – 29 August The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the world’s largest arts festival with over 41,000 performances of more than 2,500 shows packed into over 250 venues. Spread throughout the city of Edinburgh for three weeks in August, shows and performances range across all genres including cabaret, theatre, comedy, dance, physical theatre, music, opera and children’s shows. www.edfringe.com
