    Considering the local and international importance and large invesallocated to such railway projects the final implemented project shodurable and long lasting, maintenance free system, designed to Intstandards but still an affordable solution.

    Savings made during the implementation period, by installing a smembedded rail system, can often reduce tunneling and removal of by up to 10% with the EDILON Corkelast Embedded Rail system

    The first tunnel (ERS) has a perimeter of C1=2R1=25.13 m and the second tunnel (ballasted) a perimeteSo the difference is C=1.42 m. Based on the knowledge that the thickness of the tunnel shield is 0.32 mTherefore, per meter we save 1.42x0.32 = 0.4544 m3 of concrete.Given the fact that the special prefab elements, as in tunnels, cost approximately 1000 per m3 then the is 454.
