    Edelman Bolsters Corporate Communications Offering with Appointment of Chadd McLisky as

    Regional Corporate Practice Chairman, Asia Pacific

    PR Veteran Returns to Edelman in Newly-Created Role to Boost Corporate Practice in the Region

    HONG KONG, November 9, 2012 Edelman has bolstered its

    corporate communications offering in Asia Pacific today with

    the appointment of Chadd McLisky as regional Corporate

    practice chairman, Asia Pacific. McLisky rejoins Edelman

    following 20 years as chairman of IndoPacific Edelman, the

    leading public relations firm in Indonesia.

    McLisky will be responsible for leading the firms corporatepractice across Edelmans 11 Asia-Pacific markets.

    He will report directly to David Brain, president and CEO,

    Edelman Asia Pacific, and Ben Boyd, global head of Edelmans

    Corporate practice. The appointment is effective immediately.

    We are delighted to welcome Chadd back to the firm, said Brain. He is one of the regions

    best known and most experienced practitioners, and he will now be available to give great

    advice to clients and colleagues beyond his Indonesia base. This appointment follows Chadds

    incredible success in building IndoPacific Edelman into a business that is highly recognized not

    only in Indonesia but the entire region. With this new remit Chadd will further enhance our

    corporate communications offering in Asia Pacific.

    Boyd said, Chadd is one of the best corporate and crisis counselors across Edelmans 66-office

    global network. The incredible crisis communications work he did in Indonesia in the wake of

    the 2004 tsunami has been used as an industry-leading case study by experts around the world.

    Prior to the appointment and starting IndoPacific Edelman, Chadd worked for nearly 10 years at

    Burson-Marsteller, where he was vice president for Australia and New Zealand. He has worked

    for more than 30 years in the public relations industry and has managed a wide variety of clients

    across a broad spectrum of industries in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Australia, Indonesia

    and across APAC. Chadd has received several awards for excellence in public relations in

    financial relations, issues management, and marketing communications, and holds a FoodTechnology degree from Massey University in New Zealand and a Communications, Advertising

    and Marketing Diploma from the United Kingdom.
