Charles Carer Chairman of the Board Mr. Carer is currently the Delivery Centre Director at Accenture Maurius and has over 20 years of professional experience in the ICT/BPO sector. Prior to his current posion, he was the Managing Director and Country General Manager of TNT Business Soluons. During his tenure as the President of the Outsourcing and Telecommunicaons Associaon of Maurius (OTAM) from 2014 to 2017, Mr. Carer has won an African Leadership Award for his contribuon to the ICT/BPO industry. He was appointed on the Board of the Bank of Maurius in March 2015. Mr. Azim Currimjee Vice-Chairperson Mr. Azim Currimjee is the Managing Director of the Food and Beverages Cluster of the Currimjee Group of Companies and the Managing Director of Quality Beverages Ltd. He is also member of the Board of all the principal companies of the Currimjee Group of Companies as well as SBM Holdings as non-execuve director. Mr Currimjee has over 25 years of experience in the field of Industry and is currently the President of Maurius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), a role he also held in 2007. Mr Currimjee is also the First Vice President of the COMESA Business Council (CBC). Mr. Dharam Dev Manraj, G.O.S.K. Mr. Manraj is currently the Financial Secretary at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development. During his career, predominantly within the public and semi-governmental spheres in Maurius, Mr. Manraj occupied various posions. He also serves on the boards of several important instuons. Dr Alexandra Henrion Caude Dr Alexandra Henrion Caude is a genecist and director of research at the Naonal Instute of Health of France (Inserm) as well as the Chairperson of the Eisenhower Fellows of France. Dr Caude has established a new research plaorm in Maurius to bridge the gap of knowledge between tradional medicine and its scienfic understanding. She is a vising Professor at the University of Maurius. Mr. Joseph E. Charles CartierChairman of the Board

Mr. Cartier is currently the Delivery Centre Director at Accenture Mauritius and has over 20 years of professional experience in the ICT/BPO sector. Prior to his current position, he was the Managing Director and Country General Manager of TNT Business Solutions. Mr. Cedric de Speville

Mr. Cedric de Speville is the Chief Executive Officer of the Eclosia Group and the current President of Business Mauritius. He is a board member of a number of private and public companies in Mauritius and the region. He is also a member of the advisory boards of Columbia Business School FBP and Curtin Business School. Mr. Cedric de Speville has been the President of the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) from 2011 to 2013.

Dr Shameem Fawdar

Dr Shameem Fawdar is currently the Scientific Director at Axonova Ltd, a translational drug development company based in Le Vallon, Ferney, where she heads the in vitro drug discovery platform. Dr Fawdar is dedicated to advancing cancer research in Mauritius and has been a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Biomedical and Biomaterials Research, University of Mauritius where she initiated the project on defining the genetic background of breast cancer in Mauritius for personalised medicine. Dr Fawdar was previously working in the UK as a Research Associate at the University of Westminster and as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Manchester Cancer Research Institute, Cancer Research UK.

Mr. Terence Charles Smith

Mr. Terence Charles Smith is the Chief Executive Officer of Fundsmith, a fund management company based in Mauritius, which manages £14 billion on behalf of some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated wealth managers and private banks as well as for prominent families, charities and other endowments. Mr. Smith became a stockbroker with W Greenwell & Co in 1984 and was a top-rated bank analyst in London. He was also a best-selling author for his book titled ‘Accounting for Growth’. He has acquired vast experience in his roles as Head of Research at UBS Philips & Drew and Chief Executive Officer at Tullett Prebon. In 2012, he was appointed as Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to New Zealand-UK relations following the success of his campaign to commemorate the New Zealander, Air Marshal Sir Keith Park.

Mr. Dipak Chummun

Mr. Chummun is currently the Group Chief Finance Officer at IBL Ltd. He has held various senior group and regional roles in treasury, corporate & investment banking, strategy & finance with major international banks, namely Standard Chartered, Barclays, Emirates NBD and Deutsche Bank in their hubs in London, Dubai, Singapore and Frankfurt. Mr Chummun is a director of a number of private and public interest companies in the region, a director of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius and the National Committee for Corporate Governance. He has also been an International Advisory Board Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
