    About the Instructors:

    Dr. Waleed Hosny is a Research Analyst in Computing andSystems Technologies at the Electronics Research Institute

    of Cairo, Egypt. Waleeds research areas are in WirelessCommunications and IP Mobility. He holds B.Sc., M.Sc., andPhD in Communications Engineering from Cairo Universityof Egypt.

    Waleed is an active member of the IEEE (Institute of Elec-trical and Electronics Engineers) Association since 1999 and published manypapers in international journals and magazines. He has been involved withTelecommunications and Information Technology since 1994. Waleed has heldseveral senior management positions and Consultancy roles for many majorprivate and public sector corporations and to many USAID projects in Egypt inthe areas of data and voice networks, and Internet/ Intranet. Waleed has sev-eral years of project management experience working with diversied, cross

    functional teams.

    Dr. Anand Srinivasan is the Vice President Technology &Product Development at EION Wireless. With over 15 yearsof experience in system design and network planning forlarge scale wired and wireless networks Dr. Srinivasan isthe principal architect developing EIONs innovative mobileAd Hoc networking technology, wireless back haul systemsand award winning WiMAX product line.

    Dr. Srinivasan holds a Ph.D and M.Sc. in computer science from the Universityof Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He has published over fty papers inthe areas of operating systems, distributed systems, fault-tolerance, wireless

    networks and optimization and holds four patents.
