It offers five modes to adjust fan speed within safe range without entering BIOS for smart, easy and silent to achieve the system environment what they want. Installation 1. Insert ECS software utility DVD or download driver from ECS website and simply click eSF feature item to install. 2. Then launch “eSF” application and follow the onscreen instruction to finish eSF setup. Note: If you have installed eSF, the following screen will appear to remind you whether you want to install the other version or not.

Click “About” to know the current versionClick “Get new version” to get latest version from ECS website

eSF Profile Mode introduction1. Full Mode: Set the fan speeds to max with best cooling effect.

2. Normal Mode: Set the Fan speed for normal pattern.

Note: when you execute eSF utility, it will enter into default setting mode-Normal Mode automatically if there is no setting data.

3. Quite Mode: Set the Fan speed for quite pattern

4. Silent Mode: Set the Fan speed to minimum with the most silent PC environment

Note: there will be 3 or 2 control points can be adjusted to make your own settings and eSF utility provides the safe range (Blue parts) to avoid the damage of hardware.*3 control points with ITE super I/O chipset*2 control points with Fintek super I/O chipset

5. Custom Mode: Adjust the fan speed to achieve the system environment what you want.

eSF Utility User Notice

Note 1: Please check your Mother Board support eSF Utility.(Please reference the Model support list from ECS Web site. http://www.ecs.com.tw)

Note 2: Please check your BIOS version support eSF Utility. If you use the older BIOS needs to manually update to the new BIOS first before eSF takes over.(Please check the related information and download BIOS from ECS Web site. http://www.ecs.com.tw)

Note 3: Please note if you enable the smart fan option in BIOS and the eSF utility at the same time, the system will operate with eSF utility only.

Note 4: Please make sure your cooling fan are installed in the fan socket which with smart fan function. If the cooling fan is not installed in the fan socket which with smart fan function, the fan speed data of eSF utility will show “0” and please double check your cooling fan are installed in “CPU Fan socket” at first.
