IFA Ukraine is the Ukrainian branch of the International Fiscal Association (IFA). IFA Ukraine is a non-profit organization established in Ukraine in 2007. IFA Ukraine was officially recognized by IFA at the 61st IFA Kyoto Congress during September 2007.

IFA Ukraine is the only organization in Ukraine dealing exclusively with international tax matters.

IFA Ukraine has grown in a short time to over 50 members.

International Fiscal Association (IFA), Netherlands, is the only non-governmental and non-sectoral international organization dealing with fiscal matters over the globe. Senior-level lawyers specializing in IP and tax laws will cover latest developments in Ukrainian legislation and international practice with regard to e-commerce. Seminar agenda will be focused on recent law on e-commerce, NBU regulations on electronic payments, tax treatment of e-commerce (PE, VAT), IP issues, as well as on major trends in international tax practice (Google, Amazon cases) and status update on e-commerce within BEPS Action Plan. Mysnyk, Natalia

Senior Associate,Head of Litigation Practice, GOLAW

Natalia specializes in tax, customs, finance, banking and corporate law as well as provides consultations in the sphere of IT. Among the major lines of her responsibilities are: consulting clients on running their businesses and cooperation with regulatory authorities, namely, appealing unlawful decisions and actions (or failure to act) of such authorities. In addition Natalia has a proven record of settling corporate disputes as well as court disputes in the sphere of real estate and finances, labor and family legal conflicts.

Natalia Mysnyk personally represents the clients’ interests in court proceedings and exercises control over full and timely enforcement of court rulings for the benefit of the clients.

Natalia Mysnyk became a co-author of the analytical and practical guide “Guidelines for legal assistance to business entities during tax audits” issued by the Ukrainian National Bar Association. Natalia Mysnyk has authored a number of articles and expert opinions about court-related subjects prepared for business and legal periodicals.

Olena is a Tax and Legal Partner at Nexia DK. Olena has more than 12 years of experience in advising multinational and domestic clients on tax structuring of inbound and outbound investments, M&A structuring, pre-acquisition and post-acquisition restructuring, Transfer Pricing etc.

Olena served as a tax partner and senior tax lawyer for the leading Ukrainian law firms. She also worked as tax consultant at PwC Kyiv. In February 2014 Olena was elected as the President of the Ukrainian branch of International Fiscal Association. Olena is a member of the Public Council to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.

Taras Kyslyy is a Counsel, Head of Intellectual Property/TMT Practice at Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners Ukraine. Taras specializes in client representation before courts, law enforcement authorities and the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. He advises on licensing matters and IP rights transactions, registration of IP rights at patent authorities, anti-counterfeiting and domain disputes.

His clients in intellectual property enforcement and transactions include Yahoo!, Viacom/MTV, Organon Schering-Plough, UEFA, Verizon, Viasat and others. Olena Vardamatska is an Associate at Wolf Theiss Kyiv office. She has over 11 years of legal experience in the area of intellectual property and information technology, corporate, contracts, labour law and litigation.

Olena holds a Master of Law (LL.M.) degree in Intellectual Property Law from Nantes University (France, 2004) and a Master of Law degree in European Law from the Institute of International Relations of the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University (Ukraine, 2003).

Olena is the author of several IP and IT related publications.

Alina has been working in the tax area for more than 7 years and has an extensive experience in Ukrainian and international taxation. Alina specializes in providing advice in restructuring of international activity to achieve the low effective tax rate as well as in taxation of cross-border transactions.

Alina also specializes in tax consulting of high net worth individuals - owners of the business, entrepreneurs and top-managers of large companies and banks and their family members. Experience in Deloitte Belgium gave the opportunity to receive practical experience in international restructuring and in coordination of corporate and local tax compliance of multinational groups with subsidiaries in Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.

In Deloitte Ukraine Alina actively participates in the initiative of assisting tech and other innovative start-ups in launching their product and attracting investors.

Oleksandr Maydanyk is an experienced tax attorney who has led a number of complex tax advisory and tax litigation projects. He specializes in advising clients on investment taxation, including jurisdiction election and restructuring of acquired companies. Oleksandr has extensive experience in conducting tax due diligences of Ukrainian businesses and providing tax advice on complex transactions for MNCs and leading Ukrainian companies. His practice also encompasses tax structuring for corporate entities, transfer pricing matters, as well as advising clients on mitigating tax risks.
