It is a compulsory course of ideological and political

theories catering to four-year undergraduates in regular

institutions of higher education. Guided by Marxism-

Represents” Theory, the course comprehensively

embodies the scientific outlook on development; carry

out the education

on life, value, morality and legal system of

Marxism with the focus on problems arising during

the growth of students; lead students to establish

College English（I） College English has as its main components

knowledge and practical skills of the English

language, learning strategies and intercultural

communication. Its objective is to develop students’

ability to use English in an all-round way,

especially in listening and speaking, so that in their

future work and social interactions they will be able

to exchange information effectively through both

spoken and written channels, and at the same time

they will be able to enhance their ability to study

independently and improve their cultural quality so

as to meet the needs of China’s social development

and international exchanges. The teaching

requirements for College English I are as follows:

Students should acquire a total of 3,500 words, and

are expected to be able to use some basic

listening, conversational, reading, writing, and

translation strategies and techniques.

3 EC01B3B004 政治经济学 Political Economics This course belongs to the economic basic courses of

economics in twenty-first century; it is approved core

curriculum by the Ministry of Education. The main

contents of this course consist of the introduction, the

general theory of Political Economics, the capitalist

economy and socialist economy. In the part of

introduction, main research object, task and the

learning method of Political Economics. The second

part mainly studies basic theory of Political

Economics. In the capitalist economy part mainly

includes the theory of surplus value, distribution theory

and the theory of monopoly capitalism. In the socialist

economic part mainly consists of the socialist

economic system, the operation of micro economy of

socialism and the macroeconomic regulation and

control, economic growth and so.

4 SCI1B3B001 微积分（上） Calculus(Ⅰ) This is an extremely important foundation course that

is compulsory for all students studying majors not

related to mathematics.It requires that students have a

strong understanding of the basics of calculus, it's

methods,techniques and it's applications.Studying this

course not only allows students to systematically gain

foundational theoretical knowledge of high-level

mathematics,cultivate their basic calculation abilities

and lay a strong foundation for their future study of

mathematics,it also increases their abstract

thinking,logical deduction and spatial visualisation

abilities.Step by step it also improves student's mastery

5 STU1B1Q001 军事理论 Military Course This is a public required course open to

undergraduates. As the introductory course, this

course introduces China’s national defense, military

thoughts, international environment, military

technology and information-based warfare. It

provides the foundational knowledge needed to

understand the importance of national defense and

national security.

6 STU1B1Q002 军训 Military Training This is a public required course open to

undergraduates. It presents opportunities which

covers formation drilling, small arms fire training,

military tactics training, military boxing training

and comprehensive training to practice and develop

fundamental military skills. Students will engage in

various practices, gaining patriotic enthusiasm and

national spirit.

7 PAE1B1Q001 身体素质基础训练

Basic Training Sports basic course is mainly about physical

exercise. It shows basic sports skills and

theoretical knowledge to students by playing

basketball, volleyball, track and field and other

sports. It is a public compulsory undergraduate

course, which can enhance physical fitness,

improve health and enhance the quality of

sports. It is also an important part of school PE

curriculum system. Physical basic courses can also

develop physical and mental, ideological and moral

education, culture and science education, life skills

and sport physical activity. It is an important way

to implement the comprehensive development of

undergraduates. It teaches essential skills for

self defending. Complementing another two

courses, Moral Cultivation and Fundamental of

Laws, successfully, it guides students to learn

the knowledge of public safety, to enhance legal

consciousness, and to apply the law.

college students realize the importance of

establishing their own development goals and

preliminary career development plan, so that

This course mainly introduces the modern and

contemporary history of China, in which

Chinese people have resisted the foreign

national history and national conditions, and the

historical process and its inner law of Chinese

social and revolutionary development in modern

times. Moreover, it can help them to understand

deeply and fully why and how Chinese people

choose Marxism, Chinese communist party,

socialist road and reform and opening-up.

mathematic course which study random

phenomenon. The theories and methodologies

are widely applied in industry, agriculture,

statistic, including biostatistics, statistical

physics, econometrics and so on. It is also a

basis for many other subjects, such as

information theory, control theory, reliability

theory, and artificial intelligence, etc. The main

content of this course includes: random event

and probability, single-dimensional and

multidimensional random variable and their

distribution, numerical characteristics of random

variable, law of large number and the basic

theories of Limit for the center of the law of

probability theory, parameter estimation. For

International Economy and Trade (All English

this course may be adjusted.

economic and managerial subjects. Microeconomics

uses individual economic unit as subject of study,

such as individual producer, consumer, market and so

on. It covers: how individual consumer allocates

limited income on all kinds of goods to gain maximum

utility, how individual producer allocates limited

resources on all kinds of goods to gain maximum

profit, how providers of factors choose to gain

maximum income and so on. This course includes:

price of equilibrium, theory of consumers’ behaves,

theory of firm, allocation of factors and market

failure. The core of this course is the theory of

price. Through learning this course, students can

method of microeconomics so as to lay the

foundation of learning follow-up subjective courses,

The course is a public required course for college

students of economic and management majors. The

principles of accounting and the basic generation

methods of accounting information, illustration of

the contents and composition methods of balance

economic relationship. It is a combination of

economics, mathematics and statistics. It includes

theoretical econometrics and applied econometrics. The

former is about econometric methods; the latter is

about its application in economics and management.

For international trade major (English teaching), the

content of this course may be adjusted. Through this

course, students. 1) Will grasp the basic theory and

method of Econometrics; 2) will be skilled in economic

analysis and prediction by the meads of econometrics;

3) will be skilled in the general econometric analysis

by Eviews. Through this course, the theoretical system

and knowledge structure of the students will be

economic life of a discipline problem. Businesses or

management planning, risk identification, financial risk

analysis, risk management decision-making model. By

law, basic principles and application

methods of management activities. Its theories

and methods can be applied universally and

guide the activities of different social

organization. Through the study of this course,

students will understandthe basic theories of

management and master the methods and skills

required in management practices. This course

consists of two parts. The first part,the

introduction of management introduces the

essence of management (including thedefinition,

nature, purpose, mission and environment of

management) and the evolution of management

philosophy (ancient management thoughts of

China and Western countries as well as modern

management theories of Western countries),

focusing on the western classic management

theories, behavioral theories andemerging new

branchesof modern management theories. The

second part is the key partof this course. In this

part, the fundamental functions of management

(planning, organizing, leading and controlling)

will be explained in detail.

This course is a required and professional course for

undergraduate students of statistics. National

Accounting is a theory and methodology which

describes the national economy and its operation in a

quantitative way. It aims to help the students

understand the basic concepts, theories and

methodology of National Accounting, then foster their

ability to analyze macroeconomic problems with

statistical information.

Analysis

Multivariate statistical analysis was developed in early

20th century. It analyzes the interdependence and

inherent statistical regularity between many random

variables. With the development of computer, this

method is widely applied in economics, geology,

data.

and Applications

Statistical software has become an indispensable tool

for data analysis and processing. The purpose of this

course is to introduce several present commonly used

software of statistic analysis, including the freedom of

free software R, commercial software SPSS, SAS,

etc.Course mainly introduces the free statistical

software R platform which is widely used in the

statistical community, and it is supplemented by

introduction of commercial software with relatively

wider use,named SPSS and SAS.By learning courses,

students will be able to use the software to perform

basic statistical data processing, graphics rendering all

kinds of statistics, the establishment of basic statistical

models to help students master the ability of computer

programming. In addition, through this course, it is

possible to further enhance the students ’interest in

statistics, cultivate their rigorous,practical attitude and

Finance

Stochastic calculus for finance is engaged in stochastic

process and application in finance. It introduces

stochastic process theory including discrete and

continuous stochastic process and helps to solve the

finance questions with mathematics theory.

6 ECO6B4D009 保险精算学 Insurance Actuarial

Science

Life Insurance Actuarial Science is using mathematics,

statistics principles and a variety of financial models

for the insurance industry to analyze various risk

factors predictive of disciplines. Life Actuarial Science

introduces the theory of interest, life functions, single

premium pure premium, regular premium, reserves

calculation. The purpose of this course is making

students not only master the basic theoretical

knowledge about actuarial theory methods in

innovative insurance products and risk management,

but also have a correct understanding of the special

nature of actuarial science. By linking theory with

practice and cultivate students’ ability of analyzing and

securities investment theories and methods. Its content

is mainly related to securities investment tools and

general basic knowledge of securities market, securities

price decision, fundamental analysis of securities

investment, securities investment technical analysis

and the skill, the basic theory and the regulation of it,

etc.

8 SCI1B3D013 运筹学 Operational Research Operational research is a basic and specialized

course of mathematics and economic

management in institution of higher learning.

Based on linear algebra, probability theory and

mathematical statistics, it is a basic theory and

methods of building a model. This course aims

to develop the students’ ability of solving the

practical problems, and lays a good foundation

for the students’ subsequent specialized courses

or graduation thesis and design or the

application of model technology, quantitative

analysis and optimization method in the

management work after graduation. The purpose

of this course is to enable the students to master

the most common model and the method of

analyzing and solving the problems in economic

management, and understand the application of

operational research in the field of management.

The students should have the ability to solve

some common practical problems independently

by study and then establish the corresponding

mathematical model, thus solve the model

established by software in operational research.

Operational research, which is designed for the

students in mathematics, economic management

managed under an open market economy via

simulated competition of the manufacturing

bureau, Commercial bank, Accounting Firm,

Tendering Company, Logistics Company, and

Forwarder). Along with the real business flow,

cash flow, and data flow, there is a chain of

experimental activities to carry out, among

which, business set up, strategic management,

fundamental construction, production, purchase,

marketing, finance, auditing, and taxation are

related to the manufacturers.

Series

Analysis of time series takes the dynamic time series as

the object of study, by using the statistic method and

model, data mining on time series, including the graph

analysis for stationary time series and no-stationary

time. As a compulsory course for undergraduate

statistic major,this course is conducive to improve the

comprehensive ability to analyze the practical

problems.

This course introduces the basic concepts of sampling

techniques,expounds the principle of several

commonly-used sampling techniques, and

demonstrates the applications of these methods.

4 ECO2B3D001 统计调查 Statistical Survey Using the market and government statistical Statistics

survey as studying objects,this course can let the

students have following abilities:1) systematically

understand and analyze the design of statistic

investigation program and the features and applications

of all kinds of statistic investigation;2)grasp the

application of non-parametric statistical methods and

multivariate statistical analysis in the conducting

surveys;3) learn to use qualitative and quantitative

methods of analysis on sources of survey errors, the

size of errors and degrees of the influence on the

quality of statistical data. In practice links, this course

courses, which mainly introduces the basic theory of

futures market, the function, the organizational

structure, transaction rules, transaction process,

hedging, speculation and arbitrage, options trading; and

includes commodity futures and financial futures,

combining with the international and domestic futures

market development, emphasizing the combination of

basic theory and investment skills. The course focused

on combining knowledge and operational, the

combination of theory and practice, systematic and

targeted combined. Through this course, students

receive basic training and other derivatives futures and

options theory and practice.

6 ECO5B3D001 金融衍生工具 Financial Derivatives This course introduces mainly the basic theoretical

knowledge of financial derivatives, and then details

financial derivatives like options, futures, swap, etc.

role in hedging and risk management, which enhance

economics, and introduces the fundamental theorems

of asset pricing, portfolio selection, capital asset

pricing model (CAPM), arbitrage pricing theory

(APT), the option pricing theory and efficient market

theory. The starting point of modern financial

economics is a no-arbitrage assumptions and general

economic equilibrium framework. The center of the

research question is the uncertain environment for

financial asset pricing in financial markets. As

undergraduate courses, this course attempts to clarify

the basic economic thought and helps the student to

have a more comprehensive understanding.
