– Daily score: • >70% 1 point• 40-69.9 .5 points• <40 0 points

– At end of semester, percent of total points earned determines bonus• 90% and above 3 points• 80-89.99 2 points• 70-79.99 1 point• Below 70 0 points

– Forgetting device or class absence is 0 points.– Academic dishonesty to submit answers for someone else; to allow

someone else to submit for you; or to submit answers when absent.– Start using devices on Thursday 8/24.

Grade Determination• Two midterms: 25% weight on each• Quizzes: 10% weight on overall quiz performance.– Two lowest quiz scores will be dropped in calculation of

the overall quiz score.• Aplia homework: 10% weight– Two lowest Aplia scores will be dropped in calculation of

the overall quiz score.• Final exam (30% weight). • If you do better on the final than on your worst

midterm (in percentage terms), the percentage score you receive on the final will replace the score received on your worst midterm.
