Happiness:Eachofuswantsit,wisheswehadmoreofit,orworriesthatourfeelingsofhappinesswon’tlast.We’reobsessedwiththesubject:Numerousscientificstudieshaveexaminedthetopic,ashavesongsineverygenre.Therearemyriadsofbooks,courses,andwebsitestohelpusincreaseourhappiness.AndthekingdomofBhutanhasdeclareditscountry’sGrossNationalHappinesstobemoreimportantthanitsGrossNationalProduct!

Whatishappiness,andwherecanwefindit?Happinessisamentalandemotionalfeelingofwellbeing,awaytogaugehowsatisfiedyouarewithyourlifeandhowgoodyoufeelonaday-to-daybasis.Weknowwe’rehappywhenwefeelpositive,pleasantemotionsrangingfromcontentmenttointensejoy.

Happiness

Manyyearsago,aSnoopycartoonthatsaid“WhyMe?”decoratedmyofficedoor.Idividedweeks,andthusmyhappinessquotient,intoprettygood,so-so,andnotsogood.Italldependedonhowmydayorweek"hadgone".Intime,whathastakenplaceduringtheweekhasbecomelessrelevant.Yes,therearesomeweeksorperiodsoftimethataremoreintense,somearebusier,andsomehaveunexpectedmorechallengingturns.IcansaythatIamhappy,embracingafullandrichlife.Happinessisawell-researchedsubject.Althoughstudiesvaryinexact
