Assignment Aims:

This assessment of level 7 has been designed to develop advance skills in Leadership and Change

Management through the use of research techniques with special emphasis on leadership & change

management theories, tools and techniques.

Instructions:

Before embarking on the assignment, please read this carefully because these are the important

a. This assignment is divided into two main parts and combined; it will meet all the learning

outcomes of Module 04.

b. You are required to answer all the questions and respond to all the criteria set out in this

assignment.

c. Your answers should address the criteria directly and you should avoid writing irrelevant

materials as it will be cancelled and may affect your overall results.

d. Please be specific and make use of appropriate business vocabulary. Your work should

reflect an acceptable level of written communication skills as required in Level 7

qualifications.

e. This assignment must be presented in a REPORT FORMAT which is essential for this. Any

assignment which does not follow the report format may and will be referred. Please see the

bottom of this document to find out more about the report format.

Required:

Write a Report of not more than 2500 words which sufficiently addresses the issues and answers the

questions depicted below:

Task 1: Examine your own personal and managerial effectiveness with British Airways

through a process of your own personal reflection. (4.3)

Task 2: Appraise the need to integrate the management of change with other business and

management disciplines within British Airways. (4.8)

Task 3: Evaluate the principles of change and the organisational process in British Airways

and critically appraise change theories, tools and techniques. (4.4 & 4.5)

Task 4: Develop processes to act as a change agent within British Airways. (4.7)

Important Instructions:

1. Total number of words should not be more than 2500

2. Your answer needs to be supported by appropriate theories and academic sources where

required.

3. This assignment has to be submitted softcopy and hardcopy at the assignment submission

area.

4. Last date of Submission is 29th

Jun 2011 until 17:55. No extension will be given in last date of

submission except in special circumstances. Only the Director of Studies or Course Managercan extend the date in such circumstances.

5. If you fail this assignment, you cant re-work on the same assignment but have to work on

the new assignment with the new session in which case all new dates will apply.
