Well, I got one down. Hosting a district meeting is a big responsibility that sure as heck can’t be accomplished by one person. Think about it, we had 100 plus people from around the state pretty much living in our lodge for three days not to mention our own people who attended. Invitations were properly addressed and mailed to everyone and their third cousin. We provided for shuttle service to and from the hotels, cleanup crew, golf outing, entertainment, kitchen staff, raffle team, registration, and many more. This took a ton of volunteers to make this happen. Thank you for all your dedication. You guys truly made this place shine. I’m fortunate enough to have been in many Elks lodges across the country and Elyria and we should not take what we have for granted. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

It’s hard to believe that it’s November already. When I took over as ER I was worried about two things; Hosting the October district meeting/state visitation and learning 1500 words. Well, I got one down. Hosting a district meeting is a big responsibility that sure as heck can’t be accomplished by one person. Successful Elktoberfest

Once again our Elktoberfest was well attended and the food great. Thanks to all that worked the event and all who came. The crowd stayed late and partied in true Oktoberfest fashion.. a good time was had by all with good fellowship prevailing
