Enter: Foodiversità, our food “university.” Open to all ages, it is a place where you are encouraged to play with your food through live demonstrations and tastings around a kitchen table. Learn to make pasta by hand, sip on the famed wines of Toscana, or taste the difference between Parmigiano Reggiano and Grana Padano.

Experience the magic of the Italian holiday markets in Foodiversita! Explore festive buffet style food and interactive stations such as a mulled wine, cookies, winter pastas, and cheese platters. This two-hour event will feature our educational team making a wintertime staple – fresh gnocchi! Guests are encouraged to approach at anytime and try their hand at mixing the dough, shaping the gnocchi, and exploring the art of this fresh pasta with live cooking demonstrations and tasting.

For generations in the old trattorias of Rome, the Thursday menu is dedicated to gnocchi. Join us for Ghocchi Giovedì or “Gnocchi Thursday” for a hands-on gnocchi-making any day of the week! Explore the history of this beloved dish, all while learning how to make gnocchi from scratch. Our instructors will demonstrate how to cook the perfect gnocchi paired with a seasonal sauce. End the night with a beautiful plate of seasonal vegetarian gnocchi!

Discover the secrets and complex history of Sicily’s vibrant street food culture while enjoying the wine of the region. During this hands-on experience, watch a live risotto cooking demonstration and learn how to create the Palermo-style arancina, stuffed with an array of traditional and seasonal fillings.
