Tip:
It’s all about the details! When planning out your wedding budget and décor, make sure to think about the little details that show your guests how much time, effort, and love you’ve put into your big day! Personalized cocktail napkins, signage, stir sticks, menu cards, and photo booth props can add an element of “wow” to your wedding at minimal cost. Specialty linens on your sweetheart and cake table can also help elevate your event. Unique décor, like these marquee letters, look great in photos, especially once the sun starts to set. If you’re planning on a wedding hashtag, signage on your check in table, at your photo booth, and at the bar can help encourage your guests to post and tag—giving you a chance to see your wedding through their eyes!

Real Wedding: Rachelle & Danny
Rachelle is originally from Juneau, Alaska, while Danny is from Los Angeles. They met in the middle -- in Washington State, while in pharmacy school. It didn’t take long for the sparks to fly, and the rest has been history.
Danny proposed right after Christmas. They had a gathering with close friends and had an ‘ugly sweater’ Christmas party. After the party, Rachelle was told to change because they were “going out.” Once she changed in normal clothes, Danny’s best friend handed her an iPhone that started playing a slide show of the 5 years of memories that Danny and Rachelle had built as a couple. At the end of the slideshow, it said to come outside, and Rachelle was greeted with a romantic set of lights and Danny waiting at the end to propose. It was beautiful and romantic.
Rachelle & Danny wanted that same atmosphere for their wedding. They wanted a romantic outdoor setting, full of lights that resembled the night they got engaged…and MountainGate had it all—a romantic Vista on the golf course overlooking
the mountains for the ceremony and a Garden Terrace under string lighting for the reception. The best part of their wedding was the first dance. Danny and Rachelle love and have always connected through music, and they chose a song
that meant a lot to both of them, and one that always followed them throughout their relationship --John Legend’s “Stay With You.” They also choreographed their first dance and said “it felt special so special to share that moment with our
close friends and family.”
