It's a dream come true, Anytime Fitness is opening soonin Cornwall. Jacques Labelle was visiting his friend inBoulder City, Nevada, and had the opportunity to visit hisclub all week. He enjoy the flexibility and convenience ofthe facility so much that he wanted to take it home withhim. Jacques spoke in length with Brian, the club ownerand decided he wanted to offer to the community this alternative, a 24 hr adult co-ed club.He spoke about this dream with Mike Fontaine. Mike's interest was piqued and after more discussions he was onboard with the idea, too. In July, Mike and Jacques madethe commitment to get started. The right location cameavailable in the Eastcourt Mall and they were enthusiasticto do it.In August, they spent an intensive week of training in Hastings, Minnesota, where the head office of AnytimeFitness is located. They were part of a group of 60 people,representing 40 new Anytime Fitness clubs. Two peoplewere from Poland. This is a worldwide organization. Youcan travel to any of the 76 locations in Canada, use youraccess key, and workout. Or if you travel further, you haveaccess to any of the 1600 Anytime Fitness locations world-wide, and feel right at home. Anytime, Anywhere.Mike and Jacques are impressed with the organization ofAnytime Fitness. It has been in existence for 16 years nowand they have developed a comprehensive package forFranchise owners. Everything is organized and decidedand planned out for new franchise owners. Anytime Fitness makes it easy for Jacques and Mike to open their
franchise and make it successful for members to enjoy.They are being coached step-by-step and have all the support along the way, too. The security system that will bein place is state-of-the-art, along the lines of casino systems. Digital video recordings, key card access, panicbuttons, and emergency pendants are part of the system to
ensure the safety of the members. Important to note is thisfacility is designed from the very beginning to be 24 hour.The floor layout is created to prevent any areas with no escape and the security features maximize your safety.
They are working hard on the building now, but on routeare the exercise machines from Life Fitness and HammerStrength. These are brand new state-of-the-art strength training machines, cardiovascular equipment, and freeweight equipment. The best and the safest to use. An addedfeature is these machine have integrated consoles to makeyour workout yours. You will bond with these machines.Another new feature to get excited about is Fitness on Request. This device offers group fitness, customizable,flexible, unique, on a high definition screen. Sessions thatwill be offered are: kickboxing, spinning, yoga, pilates, hi-lo, body toning, strength, and step. No excuses. In addition to the basic membership, Jacques and Mike arepleased they will be offering a 24 hour tanning bed and a24 hr Waterwave Massage bed.Jacques and Mike are impressed with the support the corporate office encourages for the community involve-ment.
