Easy Taichi at the Kent Community House Tuesday mornings 10:00-11:00am two 6-week sessions Nov 12 - Dec 17 Jan 7 - Feb 18 $60/session or $100/both pre-registration is required a simplified Taichi exercise class Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese fitness system rooted in the natural integration of mind, body and spirit. It has been proven over and over again to have a profound effect on a wide range of health issues both through the experiential evidence of countless practitioners across the globe who swear by its usefulness and an ever increasing collection of medical studies all pointing to promising results and the need for further research. One of the only catches to being able to utilize the full benefits of Tai Chi practice is the difficulty of learning it. This class was developed in a collaboration between the Town of Kent Park and Recreation Department and the founder of the Falling Water Tai Chi School, Christopher Kiely with the sole intention of providing an easier path to learning. No experience is necessary. The only prerequisite is to be able to stay on one’s feet for at least an hour at a time.
