Dear & affectionate Children
I now take pen in hand to write to you to inform you that through the goodness of God we enjoy
a comfortable state of health at present & hope that these few lines will find you all enjoying the
same Blessing we receivd your letter Date Aprilth
25 we receivd it Juneth
5 was glad to hear that
you was well you wrote sorry to hear that Abraham was discontented I donot know that he is
any more uneasy than what he was when you was down here but I should been glad if it had been
so that you could live by us but if you it is so that you cannot we must try to content our selves
Give our love to Parsons & family & all enquireing friends & accept of the same to your selves

Dear Brother & Sister I once more take pen in hand to write to you I would inform you that
through the Goodness of God we enjoy a comfortable state of health at present & hope that these
few lines will find you all enjoying the same blessing I would inform that we have not heard a
word from you since phillip came down here last fall we have wrote to you twice a since once by
phillip & once by the poste Sally has wrote once a since but she did not write a word about you
we feel very anxious to hear from you
Give our love to all enquireing friends & accept of the same to your selves these lines in haste
