05/11/2010 - ACC260 was taught by anotherinstructor, so the activity was given in ACC212. Itwas assigned as an extra credit project at the endof the semester. Ten out of the eleven studentsturned in complete or partially completed projects.60% of those projects submitted received scoresof 70% or better.

I am satisfied that the outcome was met. I feelthat the scores would have been better if theproject had been given earlier in the semester,and if the project would have been part of requiredwork instead of extra credit. Many of the studentsonly needed part of the points awarded to get an Afor the course. I feel that this affected their needto finish the project.

It was scored via the CriticalThinking Skills rubric that was created by theCAP. Questions were designed based on thecriterion of this rubric. A total of 89questionnaires were administered tostudents at EGCC's Jefferson and MahoningCounty campuses. Humanities and SocialSciences courses as well as a Chemistrycourse were evaluated as part of thisassessment. The highest potential score onthis measure is 28. Likewise, the lowestpossible score is a 7.
