1. Acquire the knowledge and regulation for officiating Basketball

Learning objectives

What you will learn as you master the competency:

a. Students will learn and understand the rules and regulations of the game of Basketball.

Performance Standards

Competence will be demonstrated:

o Successful completion of quiz on regulations.

Criteria - Performance will be satisfactory when:

o learner acquires the knowledge of rules and regulations for officiating Basketball.

2. Acquire the knowledge of proper techniques for making calls including body positioning and hand signals.

Learning objectives

What you will learn as you master the competency:

a. Students will learn the correct techniques for body positioning.

b. Students will learn the correct hand signals.

Performance Standards

Competence will be demonstrated:

o Successful completion of quiz on body positioning and hand signals.

Criteria - Performance will be satisfactory when:

o learner demonstrates knowledge of the proper techniques for making calls including body positioning and hand signals.

3. Demonstrates knowledge of correct rule and interpretation.
