General Manager, Michael Davis
Park City Club sadly notes the passing of long-time mem-bers, Ben and Doris Curtis. Married for 68 years and sep-arated in death by only 29 days, both Mr. and Mrs. Curtiswill be long remembered for their positive and cheerfulpersonalities and enthusiastic support of the Club. Mrs.Curtis was an honorary Chairman of the Club. Together they sponsored over 50 members, cre-ated the Chautauqua program and committed hours to various Club committees. They leave alegacy of service and leadership to the Club, and the community that will be treasured always.
In Memorium
The entire Park City Club staff is mourning the loss of one of our long-time employees. Paco Castelan was killed in a tragic car accident on Feb-ruary 2nd while vacationing near his hometown in Guerrero, Mexico.Paco had been employed as a waiter at Park City Club for 15 years. Pacowas always upbeat and caring with members and fellow staff members. Hisgentle manner will be missed by all who knew him. Paco is survived byhis wife Blanca, two stepchildren and daughters Iztlali 5 and Monserratt, his two year old daughter, whom Paco delivered in the car on the way tothe hospital. Paco was a very proud Papa. His smile and joy of life will be remembered al-ways by his Park City Club family.

Featuring Carl YoungbergWhen you matter, so does your business and your career. Your co-workers and customers will recognize your enthusiasm and passion. We all want to be around people that “get it”, that matter, that knowhow to get things done. Make Yourself Matter is about those key areasin which we must excel or let others steal our thunder. It is aboutdealing with the fears that keep us stuck and move us to a new placewhere we are secure even during economic downsizing. What makes you matter is the element of yourself that others grasp inyou immediately. When working with others, one has to “really matter”to be valued and deeply appreciated. People make themselves matterby being incredibly courageous, passionate and full of experiences:just being around them accelerates the growth of others.Carl Youngberg helps people smash through self-imposed limitations tomaximize the fullness of their potential. News and teaches at Southern Methodist University.
