On Saturday March 19th, The Villages at Coverley was the place to be!
We welcomed our annual Easter in The Villages event and the many children and parents who came out to enjoy all of the festivities. As you can see from the photos, a great time was had by all!

EASTER IN THE VILLAGES
We want to say a special congrats to Sareco Archer-Clarke who so beautifully designed his Easter bonnet around Barbados’ 50th Anniversary. What a lovely idea which was executed beautifully!
One of the highlights was the vertical rush and trust us when we say it was just that...an adrenaline rush! Over 30 ft. of rock-climbing and sliding-fun and of course nothing but screams and laughter could be heard from those who enjoyed it. We also had a petting zoo which the children and parents couldn’t get enough of. There were baby chicks, turtles, an iguana, a monkey and even a snake.
After the children exhausted themselves with the various attractions, it was time for more treats... or a basket-full of them in this case. The much anticipated Easter Egg Hunt had finally begun and it was, as always, a race to see who could fill their baskets first. Special prizes were awarded to those who found the 3 golden eggs, which were strategically hidden. Of course, the Easter Bunny could be seen hopping around the Square interacting with the kids and taking pictures.
We would like to take this time to thank the various companies who made donations and came out to this event, Armstrong Agencies, Caribbean Confection Co. Ltd. and Confectionary and Snacks. We also want to thank everyone else who attended and enjoyed the festivities. See you again next year!

All-Purpose Natural household CleanersIn a spray bottle, mix 9 parts water and 1 part white vinegar. You can add a few drops of dish soap, as well. Add essential oils if you’d like to minimize the strong smell of the vinegar. Melaleuca oil or lavender can be used as a cleansing, deodorizing, and purifying agent.

For our craft corner this month, we’re going to be making our very own candles! Get ready for the amazing aromas that will flow from the Recreation Centre as we get crafty with our handmade candles. Invite a few friends and join us! Parents, you can register your children for this activity at the Property Management Office before Wednesday April 6th, or by emailing us at [email protected].
For this activity, you will need to bring either a glass or ceramic mason jar, mug etc. that you would like your child to make the candle in.
Children between the ages of 5 – 16 are welcome!
