An opportunity for graduate students from universities around the world to have a short-termaffiliation with the Center while working on researchfor a thesis or dissertation related to the Asia Pacificregion. Applicants may apply to the EWC, or throughpartner organizations including the Thai ResearchFund and China Scholarship Council.

Intensive research forMaster’s or Doctoral students for a fewmonths up to one year; participation in theCenter’s residential andeducational programs.

Graduate studentsfrom universitiesworldwide, workingon research for a thesis or dissertation relatedto the Asia Pacificregion.

EWC provisions includeresearch library accessand discounted housingrate in the Center’s graduate residence halls.Partner organizationsdetermine other provisions.

Applications arereceived year-round and arranged individually. For partnerships, applicants must meet their fundingorganization deadlines.
