Can we do something about it?
End Plastic Pollution and Earth Day 2018
Our goal is for Earth Day 2018 to be a pivotal moment that changes the
human attitude and behavior concerning plastics, catalyzes action to significantly reduce plastic pollution,
and positioning it as a major environmental and transnational
problem.
One person can make a difference!
Our Plan of Action• Create and promote the creation of
content about Plastic Pollution to educate and support people and organizations that want to act
• Conduct Government Strategic Outreach• Promote the Development of Institutional
and Legal Frameworks to End Plastic Pollution
• Position Plastic Pollution with the global media and increase relevant coverage of the problem

• Reinvigorating the “Green Teams” at the Districts / Divisions with EDN’s help
o EDN-customized train-the-trainers Sessions (3x45 min)
o Materials for trainer-hosted brown bags
o Friendly competition to elicit ideas for how we as an organization can make small or large changes to our operations, from the full spectrum of operations
• Individually, the EDN can connect you with projects or campaigns that you are passionate about.
