Early Head Start OverviewThe city's Early Head Start home-basedprogram serves low-income families withchildren under the age of three and pregnantwomen. During weekly home visits, EarlyHead Start staff provide child developmentexperiences to the parent and child. Parentslearn how to use their home environment tosupport their child's development. Monthlysmall group opportunities are provided forparents and children to socialize and playtogether.
