• District Conference is Saturday December 14th at Lee H.S. 8:00-2:00. You MUST attend district to qualify for the State Conference in Austin.

Our Mascot Needs a Name!!! 

Hi, Friends!  I need a name!  Can you help?!This friendly coyote wants to help make a difference in our community by engaging Mainlanders in litter prevention, waste reduction and beautification.  Can you think of a clever name that encapsulates his cause?  If so, enter the KMB Naming Contest with your best name for a chance to win four (4) tickets to a Rock hounds game, concession certificates, two Rock hounds caps, and a chance to throw out the first pitch at the game!

• Submit your name to KMB by going to the www.facebook.com/KeepMidlandBeautiful contest page and fill out an entry form (or) send an entry by mail to KMB at P.O. Box 50432, Midland, TX 79710 (or) by email to keepmidlandbeautiful@clearwire.net.

• Be sure to include your Name, Address, Telephone Number and the Name of the Mascot you wish to enter.  Please, only one submission per person!

• Enter your submission between November 10th and December 10th by 5:00 p.m. CST.

• Winners will be selected by the Keep Midland Beautiful Public Awareness Committee and will be announced January 10, 2014.

Toy drive

• MISD Central Office (615 W. Missouri Ave.)

• will be a drop-off site for the NewsWest 9 Salvation Army Toy Drive. Toys can be left in the C.O. lobby now through Wednesday, December 11.
