• Governors saw greatest opportunity in forming close links with existing Twyford and William Perkin 6th forms and other local colleges and providers.

• Ealing Fields would not be able to offer as broad a 6th form as we’d like with a school of our size.

3 year AQA GCSE course – started in September of Year 9

The GCSE course will prepare students for further academic study, university and a

variety of jobs which use the skills that learning languages develops, such as: Good

communication; understanding and appreciation of other cultures; logic,

memorization; dedication and application of knowledge in a variety of situations.



• Year 10 Spanish will allow students to continue studying the 3 year GCSE Curriculum in preparation for final exams in Year 11.

• Topics in Year 10 and 11 will include: Travel & Tourism• Education Post-16; Careers• Healthy Living• The Environment• Technology• Social Issues• Global Issues

History is broken down into 4 units

1. Conflict & Tension between East and West, 1945-1972

2. Britain: Health & the People

3. America 1920-1973: Opportunity and Inequality

4. Elizabethan England 1568-1603.

At the end of year 11 there are two exams each 2 hours.



We have begun organising a trip to Berlin which is provisionally scheduled for Easter

2021. It will be open to all History GCSE students.
