EAL Workbook The Little Penguin
Dear Teachers, This workbook has been designed to support pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL) with their understanding of the Boardstory. Please feel free to choose which activities you use according to the interests and level of English of the child you are working with. To get the most out of this workbook we recommend that pupils complete it with the support of an adult. To generate a student code so that your class can read the Boardstories at home visit www.onilo.co.uk and go to the details page of the Boardstory and click ‘Create Student Code’. You can use the same code for the whole class and it will last for that story for the 7 days. There is a space at the top of the activity sheet to write the Student Code. Please note that these are only guidelines. And remember, if you would like to upload your own teaching resources, just go to the details section of the Boardstory you are interested in. Good luck and good work! Your Onilo Team.
