Eagles
The animal I researched was the eagle. Eagles are birds. They live in the woods in New York State.
Physical Attributes Eagles have brown, black, and white
feathers. They have white feathers on their
heads. Their beaks are curved. Eagles also have strong talons.
Habitat and Shelter Eagles live in the woods in New York
State. They like warm places such as deserts
and rain forests. They build nests in trees.
Diet and Predators Eagles eat different kinds of animals. They like to eat fish from rivers and lakes. Other small animals that they like to eat are rabbits
and squirrels. Eagles can be hunted by human predators. Other animals might attack baby eagles in their
nests.
Interesting Facts Eagles are very interesting. They live 20 to 40 years in the wild. Females lay one to three eggs in the nest. The bald eagle is the symbol of the United
States. They leave the nest at 12 weeks old.
Conclusion Eagles are interesting birds.
