Byers was an assistant coach at Yale for three years and most recently the assistant coach at Notre Dame University. In addition to coaching, Byers was arguably the best player to ever come out of the Notre Dame Women’s Lacrosse program and still remains the Notre Dame career leader in all-time goals (262) and points (336). She was also is second in draw controls (154), tied for second in games played (76), fifth in assists (74) and 10th in caused turnovers (61). Byers was a four-year member of the U.S. Women's National Lacrosse Team. While playing with Team USA, she competed with and played against the best players in the world. Byers’ knowledge of the game, coaching and playing experience, recruiting coordination and contacts, as well as her passion for lacrosse will be invaluable to the Eagle Stix program. We are very lucky to have a coach of Jill Byers caliber as part of our Eagle Stix coaching staff. Star Spangled Shoot Out The first annual SSSO tournament took place last weekend at Sharon Springs Park in Cumming GA. There were 30 teams participating in this tournament from states including GA, TN, AL. The tournament provided great competition for middle school and high school ages. The Eagle Stix Dynamite team won the HS Elite Division, The Lady Dragons from Collierville TN won the HS Select division, and the Lady Raiders from Walton won the MS division. 2013 High School Elite Division Champions – Dynamite! Exciting Coaching Addition Former Notre Dame Assistant Coach Joins Eagle Stix

Eagle Stix is thrilled to announce the addition of Jill Byers to

our coaching staff. Byers was an assistant coach at Yale for

The US Lacrosse U15 Championship will take place at ESPN Wild World of Sports July 23 - 25. Eagle Stix will be participating in this tournament as an automatic qualifier. This tournament will receive national exposure for our program and players. The following players will be representing Eagle Stix:

Eagle Stix will be competing in the IWLCA Capital Cup tournament this weekend in Richmond VA. This is a major recruiting tournament and Eagle Stix teams have had coaches from the top programs in the country attend games including coaches from the following schools: Notre Dame, University of Michigan, Yale, Duke, UNC, Villanova, University of Southern California, Stanford, University of Colorado, Lehigh, UConn, Maryland, James Madison and many many more …
