West Babylon UFSD October 2012 Eagles Soar at Homecoming On Saturday, Oct. 20, the West Babylon community came out in full support of their Eagle football team as they took on the Wolverines of Middle Country’s Newfield High School during this year’s homecoming game. Students, staff, parents and community members enjoyed the parade, which began at the senior high school. The dance team and marching band led the student processional, which included the varsity and junior varsity cheerleaders and featured student floats fashioned after the theme of monsters and aliens. Students of the district’s elementary schools also joined the parade as it made its way down Old Farmingdale Road en route to the junior high school, where the game was held. Prior to commencing the game, the marching band performed the national anthem and the senior members of the varsity football and cheerleading teams were announced with their parents. During halftime, the members of the homecoming court were introduced and the crowd enjoyed performances by the marching band, dance team and varsity cheerleaders. In the end, the day was a tremendous success as the West Babylon Eagles flew away with the victory, defeating the Wolverines 13-9.

Eagles Soar at Homecoming

On Saturday, Oct. 20, the West Babylon community came out in full support of their Eagle football team as they took on the Wolverines of Middle Country’s Newfield High School during this year’s homecoming game. Students, staff, parents and community members enjoyed the parade, which began at the senior high school.
