    FeaturesWith the EagleBurgmann TS1016 thermosiphonsystem it is possible to supply buffer/barrier fluidto double and tandem mechanical seals for abroad range of applications. The TS1016thermosiphon vessel is available in 2 standardsizes with flat ends, sight-glasses for levelmonitoring and with or without cooling coil. TSvessels are equipped as standard with all thenecessary system connections and brackets.The modular system allows the TS1016 vesselsto be combined with a wide range of systemcomponents such as, e.g. level switch,circulation pump, hand refill pump,thermometer, base frame, etc.

    Installation, details, options

    Operating and installation diagram for a

    TS1000 system.The TS vessel must always be installed higherthan the mechanical seal. The buffer/barrierfluid flows via the rising pipe into the vesseland is cooled. Particularly with naturalcirculation, the fluid level must always behigher than the rising pipe to maintain thecirculation and to provide the specified coolingcapacity. Connection pipes to the seal shouldbe designed with as little resistance aspossible.
