EHBC Welcomes Beverly Hudspeth as our new

Office Administrator.

She has been a member of Eagle Heights since August 2010.

Beverly is married to her husband, Kenny, of 29 years

and they have two sons, Seth & Caleb.

Seth is currently working as an X-Ray Technician in

Wellfleet, MA., and

Caleb & his wife, Misty, are attending the University of

Arkansas at Monticello. Caleb plays the

trombone and is majoring in Jazz Performance.

Gary Thomas stated, “A lot of us already know the how to, but

we’ve lost the heart-to, the heart to apply it, and without the heart-to,

the how-to doesn’t really matter”. This program will challenge you to

take a hard look at your “heart-to”, and you will be equipped with some

“how-to” to practically apply principles from 1 Corinthians 13 to your

marriage. You will be challenged to surrender your thoughts, emotions,

and actions to leading of the Holy Spirit and the authority of Scripture.

A More Excellent Way is a biblically based marriage enrichment

curriculum that draws on spiritual practices and principles from

Scripture to serve couples who desire their Christian faith to be the

source of growth in their marriage. Our goal is to help couples deepen

their level of intimacy with God and each other by surrendering more

and more to the leading of the Holy Spirit and the authority of

Scripture.

To achieve this goal we will work together as a supportive commu-

nity (facilitators and members) seeking God’s guidance through prayer,

meditating on Scripture, and submitting to the leadership of the Holy

Spirit to prune and cultivate our heart so that God’s love would be the

source of our words, convictions, and service in marriage.
