‘B’ Question
• Worth 7 Marks.
• Compare 2 sources.
• Look for support and disagreement between the sources as well as making a judgement in relation to the question.
10 Mins.
‘C’ Question• Always worth 15 marks.• Use sources and own knowledge.• Consider support and lack of support for the quote. The quote
will always offer a ‘one sided’ view. There will be some truth in it – but it will never tell the whole story!
• Plan your answer.• Decide which sources support the view• Decide which challenge the view – some support both!• Develop the sources to stimulate your own knowledge.• You need a balanced answer• Write a conclusion which makes a final and measurable
judgement on the view in the question “I agree with the view …. To a large / small extent because …”
